AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading provider of government IT and engineering solutions and one of the top 100 employee-owned companies in the U.S., today announced that the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has awarded the company a five-year Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (E-SITE) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum value of up to $6 billion. AMERICAN SYSTEMS was one of 25 awardees in the large business category.

The E-SITE contract will aid the DIA in streamlining the acquisition processes through such things as improving contracting performance and data integrity, and standardizing acquisition documentation, among others.
