Jason Frye

Vice President & General Manager, Mission Essential Engineering Services

Mr. Frye joined AMERICAN SYSTEMS in January 2007 as Vice President of the company's C4ISR Strategic Business Area, and since 2009, has been the Vice President/General Manager of the company's Mission Essential Support Services (MEES) offering. MEES provides a wide range of test & evaluation, engineering & technical, training & training systems, and program support services.

Mr. Frye has expanded the MEES core lines of business significantly, further positioning the company as a prime contractor through organic growth and through two major acquisitions, which greatly enhanced AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ capability to provide critical support to its customers.

Prior positions held by Mr. Frye include Vice President of Defense and Intelligence for Mediaware International (now General Dynamics Mediaware) and Director of the Military Operational Support Division for L-3 Communications.  He served in the U.S. Army for 23 years in the infantry and military intelligence branches.

Mr. Frye is Chairman Emeritus of the Advanced Technical Intelligence Association and a former member of the Defense Trade Advisory Group at the Department of State. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute (Russian) and earned a B.S. in Political Science from the University of the State of New York.
